Where you'll be

Getting here, and getting around

Gibraltar is about three miles from the frontier to Europa Point, and the part most people come for — the old town, the marinas, the cable car — sits at the southern end of it. Almost everything is a walk rather than a drive.

About Gibraltar

The practical bits

The airport
Gibraltar International Airport is at the north end of the Rock. The terminal is about a twenty-minute walk from the top of Main Street, or five minutes by taxi.
The Spanish border
The land frontier with La Línea de la Concepción is beside the airport, a few minutes from the terminal. Crossing on foot is usually quick; by car the queue out of Gibraltar can be long, so leave yourself time.
Main Street
The pedestrianised high street runs about a kilometre through the old town, from Casemates Square down to Southport Gates. The shops, banks, restaurants and the cable car are on it or just off it.
Parking
Parking is tight everywhere in Gibraltar. Street parking in town is mostly residents' permits or pay and display, with paid car parks in the centre. Tell us if you are driving and we will point you at the nearest option to your apartment.
Coming through Spain
Málaga airport is about 130 km away, under two hours by road, with coaches and transfers running to La Línea just over the border.

Questions we are asked

Something not answered here? Ask us and we will reply ourselves.

How do I get into the apartment?

We email your arrival instructions before you travel: the address, how to get in, and a number to call if anything isn't as it should be. There is no desk to queue at and no key to collect across town.

What is included in the price I see?

The nightly rate for your dates, a £20 cleaning fee once per stay, and Gibraltar tourist tax of £3.50 per adult per night — each shown separately before you pay. Children are not charged tourist tax, and there are no booking fees. The booking terms set this out in full.

Can I cancel or change my dates?

Cancel more than 14 days before you arrive and you get a full refund; between 14 and 7 days, 50% comes back. Changing your dates is free if the new ones are available. The booking terms have the detail.

Can I stay for a month or longer?

Yes — longer stays, relocations and company bookings are much of what we do. Ask us for a weekly or monthly rate, or see corporate stays.

Is there wifi, and a kitchen?

Every apartment is fully furnished and has its own kitchen and wifi. What else is in a particular apartment is listed on its own page.
